The underwater world is amazing.
My professional career has focused on supporting and promoting quantitative research, education and conservation of marine ecosystems. Uncovering solutions where humans can coexist with other species on this planet is both imperative and paramount. To do this, we must first understand the complexity of our natural world.
For the past 6 years I have managed subtidal field operations and data collection for the Marine Science Institute at UCSB. Our work has focused on using imagery and automated analysis as a tool for the study of benthic marine ecosystems. I also provide mapping and geospatial modeling support for various projects.
